Chocolate banana cake

Banana and chocolate cake has been present in our cuisine for years, much appreciated since its origin, sweetened doughs were prepared in Egypt that were confused with breads and cakes.

You know that delicious cake your grandma made? That cake in the middle of the afternoon with a hot cup of coffee, whether it's the traditional banana cake that's already delicious or the banana cake with chocolate.

For our dough:

  • 3 ripe dwarf bananas
  • 4 eggs
  • half a cup (tea) of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons of Chocolate Powder
  • 1 cup of wheat flour
  • 1 spoon (soup) of baking powder
  • 100 g chopped milk chocolate

Our chocolate coating:

  • 100 g chopped milk chocolate

Method of preparing the dough:

  • In a blender, place the bananas, eggs, sugar and butter and blend until smooth.
  • Add the Cocoa Powder, wheat flour and baking powder and beat a little more.
  • Pour the batter into a pan (25 cm x 25 cm) greased with butter and sprinkled with wheat flour, distribute the chopped Milk Chocolate and bake in a preheated medium oven (180°C) for about 40 minutes.

How to prepare the coverage:

  • Remove from the oven and, while still hot, spread the Milk Chocolate on top.
  • Let it melt, forming an even layer. Serve.
