For our vegan cheese bread:
- 2 cups of sweet cassava starch
- 1 cup sour cassava starch
- 1/3 cup of oil
- 2 cups mashed parsley potatoes (mashed type)
- 1 cup of hot water
- sal a gosto
- seasonings to taste (dehydrated parsley, fine herbs, dehydrated garlic, sesame, linseed)
How to do it:
- Cook in boiling water, the parsley potatoes already peeled.
- Reserve the water used after boiling.
- Mash the potatoes until the consistency of a puree.
- In a dish, add the sour cassava starch, sweet cassava starch, oil, salt and hot water from boiling the potatoes.
- Mix well, using your own hands, until it becomes a uniform dough.
- Add the seasonings you prefer.
- You can separate the dough into pieces and add different seasonings to each piece.
- Make balls, preferably small ones, and place them on a non-stick baking tray with space between one ball and another, as it almost doubles in size.
- In a preheated oven at 180°C, place your vegan cheese breads for approximately 20 minutes, or as long as you think necessary.
