For our paçoca volcano cake:
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 cup of milk tea
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 3 cork-shaped paçocas
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Roof:
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of cream
- 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 3 paçocas
How to prepare:
- In a blender, beat the eggs with oil, milk, vanilla and sugar until smooth.
- Without beating, add the flour, 2 crumbled paçocas and the yeast.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured central cone shape.
- Bake in a preheated medium oven at 180°C for around 40 minutes or until golden.
How to prepare the topping:
- Mix the ingredients in a pan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until it starts to bubble.
- When it starts to come away from the bottom of the pan, like brigadeiro, turn it off.
- Cut the paçocas, throw them in and mix lightly so as not to dissolve everything.
- Unmold the cake and start pouring the icing through the central hole until it is full.
- When it is filled, let it pour over the cake, covering it all with the icing.
- Sprinkle paçoca on top to finish.
