Passion fruit cake in a jar

Sponge:

- 1 can of condensed milk

- 2 egg whites, beaten until stiff
- 1 cup of concentrated passion fruit juice
- 1 packet of unflavored powdered gelatin
Syrup Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
Topping Ingredients
- ½ cup of sugar
- 2 passion fruit pulps
- ½ cup of water
How to prepare:
Cake dough
- Blend the milk, eggs, chocolate, sugar and oil in a blender until the ingredients dissolve.
- Place the mixture in the bowl, add the yeast, wheat flour and mix
- Place the passion fruit cake batter in a greased and floured baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool, crumble the cake into the jar with your hands and set aside.
Filling
- Place the cream, condensed milk and passion fruit juice in the blender and blend until smooth.
- Transfer the dough to the bowl, add the beaten egg whites, the gelatin dissolved according to the instructions on the package and mix well.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Hot
- Add all the ingredients for the cake syrup to the passion fruit jar in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
Coverage
- Place all the ingredients for the cake topping in the passion fruit jar in a pan and mix well.
- Bring to a low heat and continue stirring until a thin syrup forms.
- Remove from heat and set aside
Assembly
- To assemble the passion fruit cake in a jar, separate the jars that you will use to make the sweet.
- Make a layer of crumbled cake moistened with syrup
- Then make another layer of passion fruit mousse.
- Repeat the layers and finish with the mousse.
